I think my TU said that last time. And I have never missed a payment on any of my cards/loans. I just checked my score again and now it's gone. So it could be just a glitch!!
Mine said last month that 'not enough accounts were paid on time" and this was effecting my score.
Interesting since I haven't been so much as a minute on anything late for 7 years. And my reports all reflect this.
I just realized the same issue. Its driving me crazy because I want to start looking for a home loan. Does anybody have any suggestion on how to handle this issue. TU really sucks.
So I took the time to call TU today and inquire about this late post from them. The getelman was very helpful, he took a look at everything but could not discuss anything from my report since I didn't have any company name or account that has reported 30 days late. He stated that this is an issue with the other companies, its not TU that is reporting the late payment, if they did there would be additional info, I don't know what to make of this. I guess I'll just have to way and see if it comes off on its own.
Your credit report reflects what the credtior has reported. If it is inaccurate, then you should first dispute it with the credtior.
I would review each CR, and identify specific lates/derogs that you feel are inaccurate.
Then, I would not involve the CRA in resolving them.
I would file a direct dispute with the creditor under FCRA 623(a)(8).
“This is a notice of direct dispute with you, under the provisions of FCRA 623(a)(8)(D), of the accuracy of information you have posted to my credit file.
“In compliance with FCRA 623(a)(8)(D), this notice includes:
“Identification of the specific information being disputed:
(specify the account(s) numbers, and the specific information)
“Basis for the dispute:
(how the reporting was inaccurate)
“Supporting documentation:
(all documents that support your dispute; make sure to include,
as part of your documentation, a copy of the portion of your
recent credit report showing their reporting)
“Under the provisions of FCRA 623(a)(8)(E), you have the duty to review all of the information in my notice of dispute, and to complete your investigation, and report back to me within 30-days of my notice of dispute..”
