Transunion Report

Hello,

This is my first time.  I have been reading this boards for days and need some advices. I just purchase the transuion monitoring for $4.95 and went through my credit report.  I see a sears account which I was an authorize user.  My sister did a balance transfer to another card so the balance with Sears should have been $0.00.  It is still showing as balance of $2473.00 on my report but on my sister's report it is showing balance $0.00 paying as agreed.  My total revolving debt has a balance of $5334.00 as of 3/09. I have recently paid off 2 cc which has not been reported yet and 1 installment loan of $1567.00.  I am working on paying off 2 cc with a balance of each 460.00. I also have a care credit of $860.00 interest free until 09/09,which I do plan to pay it off my July. My credit score with Transunion is 568 right now. If they report the balance from the sears account as $0.00,will my fico score change and after I paid off all my credit card within the 6 months will my credit score jump and by how much.   I do have some baddies but most of them are medical all under $400.00 each, which I plan to pay off after I pay off my credit cards.  Your response is greatly appreciated.

Re: Transunion Report

Because your util will decrease when that card reports as paid, you should see some increase.

To determine how much of a decrease you should see, figure your current util showing on your reports and figure what it would be with that account reporting $0.

Utilization = Total Balances/Total CL

Re: Transunion Report

Thank you for  your reply.  I've just started paying down my cc and following the advices here on the board.  I am paying off the cards with the highest interest rates first and so on.  keeping my fingers cross that my score will jump by the end of the summer.  Will keep you posted.
