WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

I AM ON A JOURNEY TO A 620 CREDIT SCORE BY DEC 2009.  SO FAR MY SCORE HAVE JUMP FROM 495 TO 580 WITHIN ONE YEAR.  I PAID OFF SOME DEBT, HAD SOME DEBT REMOVE, AND OPEN A SECURED BANK OF AMERICA CARD THAT I HAVE KEPT A LOW BALANCE WITH LOW UTILIZATION.  WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT TO IMPROVE MY SCORE?  SHOULD I OPEN ANOTHER CREDIT CARD?  SHOULD I WAIT IT OUT?  I AM LOST BECAUSE IN THE PAST THREE MONTHS I CAN NOT GET MY SCORE TO GO ANYWHERE.  Smiley Sad

What is going on with your reports?

When you look at your FICO score reports, what are the negatives on screen 2 (with the balance scales)?

Right now, we don't really have enough info to help you out.

"WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?"

Go to Disney Land ?

LOL, sorry I couldnt resist there. Smiley Very Happy

I'm in a similar boat, the fact that you got a BofA secured card means you are on your way.... it will just take some more time, and as suggested what are the listed negatives Fico is giving you?

Re: WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

How old is your secured card? You probably need to just let that age a bit...time is your friend.  A few months of on time payments and then possibly apply for a store or gas card card. Kay Jewelers is often used for rebuilding as they seem to approve high 500s/low 600s scores.

Do you have a relative who might add you as AU on one of their accounts in good standing?
