I'm going through some old junk and I came across an article from 2007. At the time Sears had 3800 stores and was considering buying all of Restoration Hardware. Retail consultant Howard Davidowitz warned Sears was in trouble. He suggested liquidating which he said would take 15 years. Sadly, only two more to go! Maybe that long.
