Has anyone else seen a long lag time in MyFico alerts? I am recieving alerts in ballence increases that have had a "0" ballence for 2 to 3 weeks. The purchases where made a month ago and paid in full right away. Checked my CC and all have a "0" ballence. Usually its about a week span before I get alerts. Why the big lag? Hard to keep track of things when there so far behind!
I signed up over two months ago and have never gotten an alert for TU. None. Nada. Zip.
My Experian hasn't updated in over 2 months. I called yesterday and they said keep waiting. I'll be canceling it pretty soon when I can.
Just now got another ballance increase from almost a month ago which has been a "0" ballance for 3 weeks. I know it takes a little time for things to catch up but a month behind just seems longer than normal.

CC company reports monthly, not as soon as you pay the bill.
The thing I dont understand is I paid my cc ballances off before my ststements cut as I do every month and should show a "0" ballance. I am now being allerted of a ballance increase on all of my cards. I think the issue lies with the cc co. I made the payment a few days before the statement cutoff date and for some reason it didnt post untill the day of the statement cut which then showed a ballance even though it was paid. Looks like I will have to start paying a few mre days out before the cut date. I always paid the same time every month and this is the first time this has happened. So I guess my fault for paying too close to cutoff.
Seems charges hit the cr's a lot faster than when I pay them off. EQ reports quick, EX and TU are as slow as molasses running uphill in the winter.
Yeah there is some lag, for me it's about 4-5 days for balance and CLI reports. Other things like inquires seem to take about 1 day or so. My balance is usually right though. $0 balance reports $0 balance.

I only have SW and my alerts are working just fine ..average about 1-2 days after statement date and this is about the time the credit cards report to the CRAs.
