Here's the situation.
My step brother's credit is somewhere between a 580-620 FAKO (I know, big difference). He currently owes $9,000 on his truck and is paying about 21% to Wells Fargo. I have not seen his report and not seen the details of his auto loan. With the limited info given here, I need the Auto Gurus (Im more of a CC/rebuilding kinda guy) to come together and give me some ideas for somewhere to refi (if he can). He has collections from a few non-auto debt and has no lates on current or previous installment loans.
Not sure about DTI
Any Ideas? I'm not sure if DCU goes that low. He is a member of a local CU who denied a refi awhile back.
DCU isn't going to go that low. Also yeah, FAKO is useless have him pull his FICO.
How much is his truck worth NADA Retail?
That seems like a really low score for just a few collections? Does he have no active credit cards or something? We really need a full profile credit and income wise to really help imo. Otherwise I'll mention some lenders who do subprime: Roadloans, NFCU (if he qualifies for membership), Cap One.
