Here are some datapoints from 2 days ago based on personal experience. I asked for "Audi Financing Services"
and was very diligent about not running a ton of inquiries. With that being said, the dealership did initally pull
under their AUDI dealership name against EQ and EX FICO AUTO 8 Score. I even went through the trouble of
showing them my current AUTO FICO 8 scores from that day so they had a great idea about their choices rather
than pulling.
People, please don't make the mistake of trusing just your FICO 8, FICO 9 score. Do you research and figure out
the actual number they are pulling. Either way, Approved for an AUDI Q8 55 Prestige with all the options.
A day or two later, I did have two hard pulls. 1 from the dealership and 1 from VW Credit. Obvisouly this will
consolidate in 45 days and should show as 1 pull but it did not change my score at all.
Biggest thing to consider here is your DTI and score factors. Anything in the 740+ tier will get you great financing.
I ended up at 2.99% for 72 months on $111,000.
Both HPs will remain on your account, it will just have the scoring impact of one HP. There is data that shows the effect of a HP for a loan does not impact your score until at least 14 days after the pull, in some cases up to 30 days after the first pull.
@Anonymous is correct. Both pulls (Local AUDI Dealer & VW Credit) register separately in my transaction from February 2021. But it wasnt a major impact on my scores back then.
That's a nice car. Pretty quick?
