Alliant Auto loan

I just applied for an alliant auto loan after getting a promo code offer. When I filled out the application, I got a message that said

Loan Application Received

Great work! Your loan application has been received.
Your loan application is currently being reviewed. We will contact you shortly about next steps.

What does this mean? Am I denied? If I were approved would it have said so immediately?

Re: Alliant Auto loan

That is just their process, I just completed my auto loan with Alliant.  Did you receive anything else via email giving you a contact person, email, number?  If not go ahead and call them so you can get linked with a Loan advisor and he/she will be with you for the entire process.  I am totally satisfied with Alliant, I have been a member for 3yrs and they are a fantastic credit union.  Also, go with their extended warranty and gap if you need either.

Auto loan financing vs blank check

Hi. I'm looking to finance my first car and have scores of EX 745, TU 749, EQ 743. I have a clean report, and have an annual income of 64k. I have a short credit history and have 19 inquiries. I have $22,000 of available credit and have a balance on 1 card of $456. I got an offer with a promotion code from Alliant but was denied. The reasons for my denial were too short of credit history, and too high of balances on my cards. And too many inquiries and new accounts. Am I screwed? Is it harder to get dealer financing than a credit union?

I got a little excited and was quickly brought back down to reality lol.

Try the Cap1 Auto Navigator with the SP to see what you may qualify for.

Some companies also have a first time buyer program that may work. Hyundai I believe is one such manufacturer.
