Re: Any experience with Roadloans?

Roadloans a/k/a Santander USA will only pay what you are approved for. I suggest haggling with the dealer to get it down if they want to make the sale. Also. Your down payment is exclusive of the loan amount. Still, your headed in the right direction it is NOT roadloans who you need to be concerned with, it is the dealer! Do not get sucked in by a dealer! Buy wisely! Roadloans is awesome!

Re: Any experience with Roadloans?

I agree with @TuDaizeU. It is the dealer! I was financed thru Roadloans/Santander in the fall 2012. I went to a couple of the dealerships listed on their website but since my credit score was around the 520's at the time I had a really high fee that the dealer had to pay for the loan to go thru. It is true about the fee!

The process was really easy. I applied online, was approved, printed off the forms and went to the dealership to pick out the car. One of the dealerships called me and saw I was approved with Roadloans and I told them my situation about having a high fee that a previous dealer did not want to pay. He said that as a customer I shouldn't even know about the fee and to come down with the dealership with the paperwork. The dealership was a big dealership that sold brand new cars...I have never bought from a dealership like this before! They showed me some cars and I ppicked one out. I then gave my $1500 down payment, they I chose to do from the Roadloans website and after riding the bus to the dealership, drove home! Although I have a high interest rate (which is expected I had a repo, and a bunch of stuff in collections) they gave me a change and I have I bought a car that was only a year old at the time, with low miles. As long as you pay on time, everything should be alright.
