Thinking about getting a new harley this summer. They go thru Harley Iguess? Wanted to ask if anybody has had any experiance with them. Approval or denied. What scores and factors reporting at time
I have 730 equifax and 1 baddie showing from 2003
I beleive its eaglemark savings bank or something like that
I financed my 2009 Harley through Eaglemark. It gets a little confusing when you get approved by them because it's reported as Harley Davidson Credit on your credit reports but actually it's Eaglemark Savings Bank. When you make payments online (which they charge you $6 for each time you make a one time payment) you will be redirected to a "Chase" payment window. Haven't quite figured that one out yet either.
When I applied for a loan with them, it took about 30 minutes for approval and my FICO score was 705 at the time. They have several tiers of APR so approval for a loan and the APR is all contingent on your credit history. You shouldn't have any problem with approval though and should expect a good APR.
thanks for the info was hoping they pulled equifax but transunion isnt to bad either
Factory H-D financing has been in the news lately. They have been slammed by defaults on current loans and a lot of their credit lines have dried up. I would suspect they are much tighter in their approval process than they were even six months ago. And higher interest rates and higher down payments.
I haven't been following the approval rate for HD financing but that would make sense if they've had a lot of loan defaults in the last 6 months or so. I did put down 10% to obtain my loan for my new motorcycle and I was told by the dealer that most people typically put down 5% so I do think that putting more downpayment is another factor for getting a good interest rate from HD and/or loan approval.
Good luck with your purchase of a new Harley Davidson. You'll definitely enjoy the ride!
