In December I plan to apply for the. Chase Sapphire Preferred card, but I may also need to apply for a car loan that same month.
In general, is it better to apply for one before the other? I will be getting a new car in the next few months, but I am unsure if it will be in December. However, I do want to apply for the Chase card in December since I will be going on vacation (COVID permitting) at the end of that month.
Some background if needed:
My last inquiry was March 2020 with a Lending Club Loan.
I have 1 charge off on TU and should have 1 charge off on EX by December. (EX currently has 3 charge-offs). Same for EQ. Last charge off should fall off 8/2023.
Current FICO 8s: EQ 686, TU 710, EX 695
