I was recently approved for two credit cards, thrifty OD, auto refinance 18k so I had a small auto loan on a 2004 that I took out 2 years ago to help with my rebuild. This loan was with NFCU at 6.9% and was paid up for a year in advance. Figured I would try Penfed again for $3,600 @ 36 months. Approved for 1.9% on a 2004. Unbelievable. Will use this loan to help establish repayment history with Penfed.
