In my case, I incurred a HP to join, a HP to refinance the truck which was purchased in 2011... went from 7.5% to 4.09% on rate for a loan with a balance of 19k... I also shaved one year off of the note by refinancing to a 36 month loan; I also incurred a HP to add the credit card that I was pre-approved for after submitting my paperwork for the Refinance. I was approved for the credit card with a credit limit of 22k.
In my case, all three HPs were well worth it!
