Update: I did the PenFed prequalify option, the site said it wouldn't impact my credit score, so hopefully that's true. Here are the offers we received with a request for $85,000.00:

Update! Submitted a joint application for $90,000.00 with Navy Federal and was approved with a 2.79% interest rate. Don't intend on using the entire $90,000.00, but good to know. Thank you all for your input!
