Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK: Subaru Financial (JP Morgan Chase)
BUREAU PULLED: Not Sure Yet
CREDIT SCORE: All scores 610 - 635
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: UT
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2009
MAKE: Subaru

MODEL: Legacy 2.5 GT Limited

MILEAGE: 180
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN:$35,500

TERM CONTRACTED: 72 Months
APR/LEASE RATE: 6.9%
MONTHLY PAYMENT:$605

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:  My wife and I co-borrowed with $100K combined income.  We were turned down by our local credit union back in Sep due to a few open collections on my wife's reports, so we decided to try again and let the dealer arrange financing.  We were obviously very suprised that our scores qualified us for such a good APR.  We put $4K down and used a $2,500 rebate to offset over $7K in negative equity on an '06 Pontiac G6.  Also added extended warranty, clear bra and fabric/leather guard since we plan to keep this car for at least 4-5 years.  The end of the year is definitely the best time to buy a new car and get financed through captive lenders. Thank you Myfico.com and thank you Subaru!

I've named her Pearl, and glad she's a wonderful addition to the family.  I've gotten use to this Smart Key thing REAL quick in only 2 days.

AMOUNT OF LOAN:

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Before walking into a dealership I knew I wanted a Civic so I got a Honda preapproval online.  At first the dealer offered 13.9 but I refused and almost walked out the door.  He offered to call Honda back to get a better deal.  Came back with the 3.9 if I got Gap coverage. Dealer did not have to pull another score but just went off the preapproval.  had to provide proof of income.  Thank you Myfico.com!
