I've been seeing conflicting information as to how much weight an old repo has on Auto Enhanced Scoring. My current situation is:
What is the chances of dealer vs. CU financing (not currently a member of a CU)? What kind of rate can I expect?
My auto enhanced fico was over 50 points lower at a 562 and I got instantly approved at Carmax through santander at 17%. not good but I had 2 repos, 1 being less than 3 years and bk's. The advantage of the CU, atleast mine is they use TU only not auto enhanced but at a 642 and no current good standing auto loans they wouldn't approve me, but it would have been 17% even if they had approved me, so no loss there.
oh also many car makers like Toyota, Ford are offering there special 0% and leases for tier 1-3 which for toyota is all the way down to a 650 credit score, but it will be auto enhanced
