Auto Loan While on BK

My car was just total. However the amount the insurance company is paying is the balance remaining on the car. I'm going to ask the courts to allow me to buy another. What are the names of some of the financial companies that will consider me for a loan during this time.

Most companies require your BK to be discharged. Ask your lawyer...do you have one or is it pro se? Obviously make sure that the totaled car's deficiency is included in the BK.

If you get court permission, I think some lenders will work with you. I know that after BK, many lenders (GM financial, coaf, drive, roadloans, santander, ford motor credit, wells fargo, among others) will work with you.

I don't know much about financing while IN BK protection. Anyone else here been through/know of something similar?

there are companies that will....exeter finance is who did mine @ 20.54% interest!!!!!!! need i mention refinance asap or should i say 1 year after discharge? there are also some buy here pay here lots that will do it, i only know of ones in the indianapolis area
