If I apply for several loans, will they all show up as inquiries...I had thought there was a loophole where in a certain timeframe they all count as one....is this the same for all 3 bureus?
Everytime one of the banks pull your credit it will show on your file as an inquiry. What you are referring to is the scoring formula counts all auto or mortgage inquiries within a period of time as 1 inquiry for scoring purposes. So yes they all appear on your report but only ding you for 1 inquiry. I think the time frame is 14 days but not 100% on that.
So in theory, I could apply starting today at several places and between now and almost new years, all those will only count as one hit for me? Is this valid for all bureaus?
