This will probably sound dumb, but... I read about auto enhanced scores and how only auto finance people can see them etc. Are these the same scores we have access to on our scores here?
When you have your credit report pulled here as part of myFICO, you receive the FICO8 score and if you have the monitoring service, you will be notified when this score changes. However the 7 or 8 additional FICO scores you see will only update when you purchase another report. Hopefully that makes sense.
It confused me for quite awhile as my FICO 8 kept going up but the rest of them were not having any movment. I upgraded to the top package so that I can get updates on all the scores every quarter.
So yes, you are seeing a 'similar' score to what an auto dealer will pull. As others will tell you, finance companies can also have their own algorithm and you could see a different score than you see here. (Take-home it should be very close and spot on if they use that exact scoring model, say FICO Auto5)
