Auto loan approval? What are my chances?

Hello! I am looking to purchase a new 2016 Nissan Maxima in the next 3-6 months. The one I want is the SV model. I've seen them listed between $25-27k. I am currently waiting to close on my house some time next month (currently in the building stage). Expected mortgage pymt will be a little more than $1100, that my boyfriend and I will split down the middle.

 I have a current auto loan thru Santander Consumer that I'm going to pay off upon closing. Balance as of today is $1700, will be approx less than $1k once I make May and June pymts. I do not have flawless pymt history with Santander as I fell upon hard times in late 2013 and a few times in 2014. Total of six 30 day lates that they won't remove ( I tried). I have not been late since June 2014. I'll be paying off my loan 3mths Early.

My average income is $49k a yr depending on monthly bonuses as they vary each month. 

My auto scores are as follows:

• EFX Fico 8: 680 Fico 5 676
• TU Fico 8: 723 Auto Score 4 699
• EXP Fico 8: 663 Auto Score 2 659

Also, I have a 9yr old repo thru Cap1. What are my chances of getting approved thru them again? I have several cards with them and they are always sending me preapprovals for a car loan thru their Navigator site. Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if Cap1 will still hold that against you at this point or not. Your Fico scores aren't in bad range as well as your salary and what you'll be paying for your part of the mortgage. I hope it works out for you.

On another note, I'm in the same boat as you with Santander from 2010 on a paid loan. Several 30 day lates that they won't remove. It the only baddie on my report.
