I like many people have been working so hard to improve my credit over the past couple years and it has finally paid off! This time last year, all three of my FICO scores were in the low 500's and today they are all hovering 690! I was able to refinacne my car this week with BECU and recieved an interest rate of 5.24%...it was at 19.99% with the previous lender which i know is sky high but it was due to my low scores and my poor credit decisions earlier in life.
After signing my loan agreements, the loan officer proceeded to tell me I was preapproved for a line of credit and a credit card with them! They approved me for a $500 line of credit and a $1500 credit card with only 10% APR on the card which is the lowest of all my current cards.
I am just beyond words with how happy this makes me!
