Okay, that's pretty good.  But your situation is a rare one.  Plus, Hyundai is selling like hotcakes so there's a high demand on the resale market which drives up the auction prices for preowned.

Re: BMW FS - Approval odds?

the best advantage of leasing and I've done it myself before is SCRA benefits..you can roll negative equity into a lease, then deploy or have orders overseas for a military member and just walk away from lease and the leasing company eats it...this is a not well known SCRA benefit..everyone that's in the military and knows any of this stuff knows that AMEX waives the annual fees, but not many folks know that federal law says they must terminate the lease with no penalty for deploying or PCS overseas military members..I've done it with Mercedes Benz Financial Services and Ford Credit...both were pretty easy to deal with, Mercedes being easier.

Re: BMW FS - Approval odds?

Great points made on both sides, I intially stated that OP simply look into a lease, that would give them a chance to view their options and what would be financially beneficial for them in the long haul.

I'm about to lease a 2019 AMG C 43 Sedan at 465/mo. With more mileage it would've been around 600-700 (around purchase payments), however I have other cars to drive. Therefore I didn't need the extra mileage. This agreement will end in 2021, and I will pick up the 2021 AMG C 43 Sedan at 465/mo, thus upgrading my vehicle and keeping payments the same.

Do the math on purchasing this car, but again great points on both sides, however leases are not the devil and are simply a tool to be used by those who know how to use them. Which is why you have to have a favorable credit score to be eligible
