Hi,
I have a FICO socre of 759 and my wife is 629. I currently have two car leases in my name from BMW and VW. We are in the process of applying for a mortgage and I am trying to apply without including my wife's information because of her low score. However, Since I have both leases in my name, my back-end ratio is high and I am trying to find way's of reducing it. One memeber suggested transfering one or two of the leases in my wife's name. Does anyone know if this should be even attamped considering her low FICO score?
Thenks & best regards,

Don't know if this will help but last year my scores were really low like 610 and I was approved by VW for a 36mth lease at promo rates they pulled TU I chose not to get the car though. Good Luck
Transfering may be tough. They don;t like to let a higher credit profile off the hook for a lower one. the most likely o[ption (if she would qualify) would be to have the wife buy out the lease/purchase the car with a new car loan from a creditu union or local bank.
Lease's can be sold, but it is hard to get through.
