I have to give cap 1 a big thumbs up! I was approved through cap one blank check program by applying online. I have been receiving their pre-approved cc offers in the mail lately and figured why not after trying roadloans, gte and patelco with poor results. My scores are in the 670's. I'm at 50% uti on a 3 major cc's, under 30% overall on 12k in cc's. Currently my total cc balances are approx 3k(car repairs) or my scores would be 700plus. I am one yr post ch 7 dc. What's amazing besides the rate is that cap one was included in the bk. Approved for 23.5k at 5.17%. Road loans said 20.5% with a 14k max. I was denied by patelco and gte cu because of brief NEW tradelines history(opened 4 cc's 1yr ago to re-establish credit history). Otherwise, perfect history 20+ yrs prior to filing.
