Just like all junk mail offers, it just means that you were included in a list provided by the CRA of potential customers with a certain credit profile. It does not guarentee you will be approved, or denied for that matter. If you want to app, that is your choice. Many people like the capital one blank check programs, other don't. All depends on your credit profile and what you are looking for. You likely won't get the best interest rate offer from cap1 compared to a captive lender with subvented rates.
