Well I tried my luck with Capital One auto and got approved for 35,000 with an apr between 6-11% which was pretty good. If anyone lives in the Houston area and knows of Ford Dealers that use mostly auto scores like TU auto score 4 or EX auto 8 or 2 and EQ auto score 8. Would you please let me know. Thanks for any help
I don't live in that area but I'd be willing to bet that Ford Motor Credit can probably beat that rate. Especially if you're looking to buy new.
Most dealers have the ability to pull all three, it doesn't matter which dealership you go too.
Just go into the dealer with your pre-approval.
Go to the Cap One Auto website and get a list of Ford dealers in your area that use Cap One to make things easier.
If you allow them to submit to Ford Credit, who pull Experian they will see if Ford will beat it and if your EX score is over 660 with no BK/Forclosure/Repo you they should beat it.
Thank you for the reply Dj4Money, no BK/Foreclosure/ or repo. My EX Auto 8 is 649 and EX Auto score 2 is 668
So you think I will be good with Ford?
What kind of vehicle are you looking at getting? And what's your previous auto history?
I will say Ford will take it and should beat Capital One. By law they can change the rate by 2-3% up or down; so rates are negotiable. Play hard ball, you have the advantage of money already in your pocket (cash buyer).
MakeItMudLight: I have a 2011 track pack gt now and the 15-16's have fianlly grown on me with the performance pack, leather, and navigation which I have now in my 2011
Dj4Money: 5-7% would be great for me right now. I've asked a few ford dealers what version they use and I am thinking of going to Planet Ford again since I have bought a car there before
MakeItMudLight: My previous auto history is very good, I have 4 auto loans that have great history
