Capital one auto navigator pre-approval

Hi all! I’ve been trying to purchase a car and I was finally approved through capital one with my husband as a co-signer. We are going to the dealership this Saturday and just kind of want to know what to expect. I understand that they will do an actual credit application there, will that change the offer that I’ve been given? Our credit isn’t great but I think what helped was higher income. Not trying to get my hopes up

If you have cap one financing with the check they SHOULD not be pulling your credit, there is no reason to you already having financing in hand.

They will try to push you to use “their” lenders but if you are happy with your cap one terms do not let them.

You WILL have to fill out an application.

They don’t send checks ahead anymore (at least they didn’t for me)

Cap One does prequal with SP.

I told my salesman 3 times if anyone pulls my credit other than Cap One, I am walking out.

I told him I get instant CR alerts.

Filled out the app, no extra pulls, smooth as silk.

72 months at 2.49% through Cap One (few years ago.)
