I don't have experience with them on car loans but they are the capitve lender for Mazda and Subaru for reference. Personally I do all of my car loans with credit unions because their rates are rarely beaten.

Has anyone obtained financing from Chase in the last 3 years?. If so what's your story?.
I have a "pre-selected" offer with a green check mark for a Auto-Loan online. So I'm going to be applying soon, Auto enhanced TU is 751, EX is 740
My partner got 0% on a Subaru (Chase) back in the summer of 2013. He told them that he was happy to pay cash if they didn't give him 0%, and he got it. It's a wonderful feeling when your entire payment goes to principal.
If you have a specific make and model in mind, see who the manufacturer uses as their captive lender, and see what their rates are. Going into the summer, most of them will be offering 0-1.9 % financing to clear stock in advance of the 2018 models arriving.
I find that outside of being a captive lender for specific brands, big banks can't come anywhere near credit unions. DCU would approve you for 1.99% any day of the week if your EQ is around the same range as your EX and TU.

I had an auto loan with Chase about 6 years ago and I had zero issues. They had excellent customer service and treated me very well. I believe y rate back then was 2.9%. I made y payments on time and I believe if you do that with any lender it's typically a good experience.
