Can anyone voice their opinion on using Chase?
I applied online and received a interest rate that is good for my situation (average credit, limited history). I was just wondering if anyone has dealt with their loan process, are they usually pretty streamlined and easy to work with?
AAoA is 1 year for me and 1 year for wife.
My credit history goes back about 2.5 years but I have around 7 accounts open. Installment loan (small balance) and about 6 cc's. Paid of Auto loan for used car. Also have a Student loan. Also have a mortgage in my name only for $900 a month total payment incl. escrow. DTI is low because of no car payment and relatively small mortgage pmt which we plan on staying in for atleast 4-5 years.
Wife has 1 CC, Student loan.
Her income 48k, my income 65k. Combined 113k.
No bankruptcies, lates, or missed. Not negative reports on credit.
all 3 of our scores are about the same for each of us. My average between the 3 is 650, hers is 670. Like I said, I'm not sure what Chase pulled yet.
Our Auto 8 Fico scores are lower than our overall fico scores, my average around 625, hers 645.
my credit utilization is high and needs to come down. It was 90% 2 months ago and now it's at around 45%. Working it down slowly but both of our cars are small and wearing down so we want to buy a SUV.
I'm 26 and she's 24 IDK if that matters really. Let me know if I'm supposed to post anything else.
For scores in that range there must be a negative somewhere if not then you should be a shoe in for dcu with prior paid auto loan
I was going to maybe try DCU but I wanted to wait until some big payments on my CC's show up to see my utlization go down and credit score up.
I did Chase first cuz then I would at least know I had an approval to work with. I'll probably re-apply Chase too before purchase if my score gets a bump
Is the paid off auto on your report?
I paid it off after my last Fico Report so im not sure.
I have a new car loan with them. Easy so far, no complaints

The only car loan I have had is with Chase. I was very pleased with the ease of everything. Payments were easy.
I took out a 60 month loan, paid it off in 42 or 45. I have sinced opened a checking account with them and also have a 15K BA Visa with them.
They have been good to me.
I have a car loan with them - took it out in May 2012. Easy to work with - even when my husband got laid off and I got behind, they worked with me. Only got a couple of late payments marked against me rather than losing the car - which we needed.
I can't complain.
