Had to get a new vehicle in January after a deer took out my brand new pickup truck, credit was kinda **bleep** (like 603) lots of inquiries, high balances but no baddies, so here I am trying to get a car loan, ended up picking up a '12 VW GTI for 19k, dealer kept telling me I'm approved yada-yada, then hit me with 19.5% interest... But what could I do, i needed it for work..

Now here I am a few month later, with a 690 and a cleaned up report thanks to these forums!

Went to my local credit union who've I've been a member of for years and had my truck loan with offered me 8.5% which is still a huge plus compared to Santander

But I remembered hearing about DCU here, did my homework and applied.. Within a minute I got approved at 2.240%!!!!!

Submitted all my docs today waiting to call them tomorrow
