DCU scoring question

I finally got my Eq Fico score from DCU. Is that the score they use for their auto loan app?  If so I'm 14 points away from their best rate!!!!

Re: DCU scoring question

I was just speaking with a woman in their loan dept on Monday. I was calling to ask about a mortgage, but since she was on I also asked her a question about my monthly score I receive from them and she told me they didn't use those scores. She pulled up my score from my auto loan in Jan and she gave me the actual score they used which was lower.

The free monthly score they provide is an EQ04 score just like the one they pull for auto loans, unless the off chance that they pulled EX for you, which actually happened to me.

Just to clarify...she used the scores from January which were used for both Auto and Mortgage?  That's interesting.  The free fico is from Experian and that's what they pulled for my membership/

DCU's free score is from Equifax...nothing else.  And that's what they pull for membership.

I'm confused...the free Fico is from Experian as well and that's what it sounds like.  They pulled EX for your auto loan EddieK?

They pulled EQ for membership.  And pulled EQ and EX for my auto loan.  But them pulling EX for anything is very rare, I didn't even know until they sent me a letter stating what report was used and score when approved for the auto loan.

Oops my bad, they pulled EQ for membership.  I meant EQ not EX.  They pulled EX as well for your auto loan?  Both of your scores are good, that makes no sense.  My EQ is good but my EX is low and it would actually work against me.
