I recently purchased a vehicle from a rookie salesman who did not collect a small deposit, but calculated it into the bill of sale. I've taken possession over the vehicle and have provided them a check for the final total provided. 1 week later they realized they made a mistake and started leaving several angry, urgent, "you have a problem" voicemails and texts requesting that I provide them with my credit card number. This is clearly their mishap and I'm tired of dealing with them. What is the best way to deal with this issue? Would a cashiers check be the best way to provide payment?
I would call and request to talk to the general manager of the dealership and tell him that you're upset that a rookie salesman made this error and is now being rude to you on his messages to you. Save the messages and play them for him.
What difference does it make to you if it's a cashier's check or credit card? I'd probably put it on the CC just to stick them with the fee... LOL

Personally, I'd be worried giving them a CC because what if they charge are different amount? As another poster suggested, talk to the general manager and if push comes to shove, give them a cashiers check NOT a CC.

If you get charge a difference amount than what is stated then contact your CCC and dispute it. Simple
