Dealer consider

Hi I'm rebuilding my credit and I currently have a car that I pay for every month online for 8 months now. 25k loan. It is in my friends name. Would I be able to show the history to the dealer to take into consideration?

No, if it isn't in your name you aren't going to be able to get credit for those payments.  Doesn't sound like an ideal situation in terms of credit or legal rights to the car.  To rebuild you need this account on your credit report so it needs to be in your name.

Re: Dealer consider

the vehicle is not yours and I am going to assume you are simply renting the vehicle from your friend and I am also going to assume the bank does not have your info and I am also going to assume you are not a co signer.

you can actually park your friend's car at her house and leave it there and let her deal with his or her car and then you can get your own.

easy peezy.
