Thank you for choosing DCU for your loan needs! Your loan application is being processed. A DCU representative will be in touch with you shortly.

Just applied and got this response. What does this mean?

It means your loan is in process and they will contact you tomorrow to upload paycheck stubs and email you the loan docs, I presume.

The loan has to be approved, but now it is in process.  You should know in a day.

Way to go!

It's not the end of the world.. There are other options. Did they give you a reason for being declined? Maybe utilization was too high or anything? Maybe a local CU will be an option.

Re: Don't know what I should do

No email notification, no phone call, nothing and I get straight up declined.

I know my score and the amount of income i bring is more than enough.

Was i supposed to upload documents like check stub etc?

I was giving instructions of any of this. This is the wrost loan process i have experienced.

I will call on monday and they will hear about it. I know it ain't the end of the world and guess what I will be taking my business somewhere else. They ain't the only ones out there.

Any one who wants DCU better make sure your score shines like diamond or else you will get DECLINED...

Re: Don't know what I should do

Okay Then, moving on to my next question. Since they have already pulled my report and its caused point deducation, should i apply with others to refinance or is it best to wait until next week? I would like to prevent more points frome being taken off.

Any insight or inputs from someone whoe know what they are talking about or experienced this situation before?

Thank YOU

I'm no expect but my best guess would be better now rather than a week down the road. Again, just a guess. I'd wait for a more exerienced poster though. Good luck.

No need for cursing on this forum. If you feel the need to do that, then do it offline.

I have got 2012 Mazda 3 which trade in value per kbb is 9k. My interested is about 18 percent purchased from buy here pay here dealership. My ultimate goal is to trade it in for Jeep Warangler. The loan amount I am request is about 25k. My CC util is low and DTI is low as well. Just 5 items in co which is 5.5 yrs old.

Should I refi and get better rate or should I trader it in for newer Jeep with better interest rate.

Really it is difficult to answer your questions about what to do next without more information such as income, debt, current actual FICO scores.

If we had that info we could let you know which lender is likely to accept your credit profile for a refinance. Might save you time and money.

Check the eligibility information for InTouch FCU. They have approvals down to 520 credit scores.
