Re: Downpayment?

It does take some time for it to be credited to the account. I would double check and make sure they posted the credit as principal only and not principal + interest. I remember when I canceled my GAP coverage...$750...they posted only half toward my balance and the rest was interest. I had to call Hyundai and have them fix the error and I have not looked back--best decision I ever made. I would double check everything after your loan processes and make sure you do your calculations and call your finance company if there are any errors.

Re: Downpayment?

I forgot to mention above that you need to call the company where the warranty was issued from and make sure they sent out "payment" to your finance company.

Re: Downpayment?

I am enduring a similiar headache. I purchased a Ford F-150 last month and was dumb enough to accept the extended warranty and maintenance package the finance manager offered to the tune of nearly $2500! After a week of being glassy eyed at my new vehicle, I came to the conclusion to cancel the extended warranty and maintenance plan. Went to the dealer and had them fill out and fax the cancellation request, I got a copy. They said it will take up to 45 days for the lienholder to get the refund. We shall wait and see..

Re: Downpayment?

I had GAP and maintenance too. I ended up canceling my GAP but keeping my maintenance...and it TOOK FOREVER for them to get everything canceled. I never went back to the dealership to cancel it. I called the GAP company myself and had them mail me a cancellation form that I mailed out.

Re: Downpayment?

Okay how do I reference the warranty by my VIN number and purchase date? I emailed them and will probably give them a call tomorrow.

Re: Downpayment?

They said I had to come in and sign the cancellation form. I did. I hope that is the end of that she also said she would write on refund check apply to principal.

AutoCheck Experian says it was sold as a Mazda Certified Pre-Owned Smiley Surprised

Why would a dealer not disclose this

Re: File number xxxxx

Hello Mr. xxx,

All authorized Mazda dealerships are responsible for the 150-point inspection. If you have any discrepancies with the inspection, you will need to work with the dealership directly.

I will be more than happy to reach out to Mazda of Ridgeland and review your concerns with them. I will follow up with you once I have further information to provide.

Hello,

My understanding is Mazda North America Operations Certifies that the vehicle meets the requirements as the program is operated by the Manufacturer not the Dealer Location.
