My ex wife and I both have vehicles we co-signed on, so it still shows on both of our credit even though we pay our own notes. I can't refinance because my DTI is too high and I was denied, but she is contemplating trading her car in and getting it on just her name. With that $21,000 off of my credit, I could likely then refinance my truck bc of the dropped DTI. My question is how long does that take to show on my credit after she traded her car in? Plus it would help me immensly in buying a knew home. Thanks for any help.

Once her loan is paid, it should update on her ( and yours ) CR within the next billing / statement cycle. Depending on where that falls it could be up to 30 days.
Appreciate the response!
