FICO AUTO SCORE 5, 4 AND 2 VS FICO AUTO SCORE 8/9

Browsing through the auto loans approval section, I've noticed most dealers/credit unions/banks use the 8/9 scores and not the older 5, 4 and 2 scores. In myFICO dashboard, the older auto score is labeled as "High lender usage" while the 8 Score only has "medium lender usage?"

Are 5, 4 and 2 auto scores still getting used? The reason why I am asking is that my scores are significantly lower than my 8 scores by about 50 points across the board.

The 2, 4 and 5 auto scores are still being used. It just depends on the lender.

Navy pulled EQ5 for my auto loan from them.
