First Time Buyer Guidelines?

My husband and I gave my Grandson a used vehicle several years ago.  We ask him to put it in his name.  We find out now that someone told him if the car was in his name he would'nt be able to qualify for a "First Time Buyer Loan"  Is this the truth?

That has nothing to do with it.  First time buyer programs are normally just for people who have never had an auto loan before.  Having a paid for vehicle in your name has nothing to do with it.
