Hello
Negoitated a deal on a new 2015 Prius for $20,200 out the door. I intend on putting $5,000 down. (So 25% down)
My credit score according to my capitalone tracker is 644 (not sure which kind). I will have my mother cosign for her credit (her score is above 800, and her income is 5-6x mine)
Does anyone have any advice on what I should request or say to the finance person?
I would like to do 60-72 months under 1.9%. Anyone think this is possible?
Well the capital one isn't a FICO score which is what most auto financers use.
Your best bet is to talk to a local credit union and get financing ahead of time, and take that in with you, because car finance folk are generally awful people who try to screw you out of extra interest.
I recommend going to creditchecktotal and getting your actual FICO scores, because that will help you figure out what rates you should be getting. Are there any negatives on your credit reports?
