I do bank with them! Although I moved most of my money out last week... I have $250k in the account and use it for payroll! I always laugh when anyone asks me where I bank... cause I have like 50 accounts hahaha (all thanks to the forums), but my primary bank is Morgan Stanley as of 2023!
I believe First Republic does do approvals for clients a bit differently, cause some of my friends get wayyyyy better terms and such compared to me.
