Help! Confused! New Auto Loan

Purchased a car on 4-11. I financed with Westlake and I was under the impression everything was approved and set in stone when I left the dealership with the car. 4-17 I get a call saying Westlake sent back the application to the dealership because they couldn't read my ID and paystubs. I sent the extra copy. Now their saying I have to provide bank statements after Westlake sent it back for a second time, for what? Am I really getting denied? Can I just say nvm and get my down payment back?

Re: Help! Confused! New Auto Loan

definitely frustrating - but i wouldnt pass up a car just because of some paperwork submission requests

keep providing the documents they ask for, and i am sure it will all work out for you

They are just crossing T's and dotting I's if that lender ends up not being able to make the magic happen it's not the only lender in the world Smiley Happy    But it sounds like they had a deal set up they are just verifying everything you said is correct so they can have record for themselves
