Anyone have any knowledge on Hyundai financing? I will be applying for credit through them in the morning after test driving a new Santa Fe tonight. Experian auto score is 650 and TU is 667. Can I qualify for their 0% financing with this score? Trying to figure out what rate I should be expecting.

Tough to say, some capitve lenders have some leeway and can put you at their highest tier if you have a clean credit history but scores that are a little short. I am a believer in getting preapproved through a credit union before shopping, this ensures you have a solid rate loan going in and puts pressure on the dealer to beat it is the best for you in my opinion. Problem is that dealers frequently mark up interest, captive lenders will allow them to add up to 2% to your loan and non-captives frequently put no limit on them. Having that approval in hand makes it impossible to do so.
Hyundai Finance requires a 700 to be approved for 0%. I had a friend that just purchased through and financed through Hyundai Finance a 2017 Elantra, and they told her it was 700 to get approved.
I just leased through Genesis, which is the same as Hyundai finance, my credit score was close to 700, so they got me the best rates with approval from Hyundai/Genesis. He told me since my score was only 10 points away, they would most likely say yes. He did tell me though that if it was 40-50 points away from 700, he wouldnt even try because Hyundai would say no.
Would anyone on here mind taking a look at my thread regarding Hyundai (and Honda) finance and whether I'd be likely to get approval?
