Hyundai motor finance leasing problem

ok i leased a 2013 hyundai and traded in april 2017 and paid the balance due on lease plus 400  dpllar fee early termination fee,,,,and 800  dollar fee for over mileage fee,,,,which i called to verify over the phone ,,,cause i purchased a 2017 chevy camaro,,,,i called back again the same day before i left dealership to verify the amount was the same the first time i called that same day,,,,,

6 weeks later after all is done ....dealership paid the fees owed on hyundai and check was cleared and done,,,,so i thought ,,,,anyway i get a letter in mail for 872.00 dollars for official fees n taxes,,,,,,wear n tear on car,,,,,advanced lease fees,,,,disposition fees,,,sales fee.....adj lease balance fees....

so i called hyundai motor finance and said if you record calls ,,,,can you get my recorded call that specific day and tell me what your finance dept told me to pay ,,,twice ,,,,so i said i would have the chevy dealership call them to clear up ,,n hyundai said they dont talk to 3rd parties....but they did accept check for what i thought was final payment ,,,,,

now they have put on my credit report,,,,and it can stay ,,,,because i am not paying them a penny more,,,, very very unfair,,,after 48 months of paying each an every payment on time,,,,

Re: Re:hyundai motor finance leasing,,,,

catlady26, I understand your frustration with your Hyundai lease experience. You think you have made your final payment and get another FINAL payment due.

I would recommend going back and reading your original lease contract to see what fees are allowed. My guess is that in the small print they are all listed.

Also, I understand wanting to make a point and standing on principle however.... You should rethink if you want to put a boat anchor on your credit for the next 7 years with a negative notation. Hyundai doesn't care. Paying the $872 they say you owe may be a small price to pay to protect your credit.

Re: Re:hyundai motor finance leasing,,,,

Thanks for the infomation,,,,you would think the hyundai motor finance would have given me that information,,,,even to say you will not get a final payoff for x amount of weeks until we  access your vehicle,,,,,we would only give you what i see you owe on your lease ,,,,such as over the mileage if any,,,,,,,diposition fee,,,,,payments left on car,,,,,,which they gave me ,,,and thats what i paid,,,,,,

I also see some terrible reviews on them as well,,,man and to think i paid 48 months on my lease to end up in this situation,,,,but i have gained alot of knowledge about this,,,,and wanted to share in case anyone else get in to a situation as mine,,,

One more thing on my lease ,,,it does not say anywhere on lease(in the small print ) that you will be billed a month or two later for additional charges,,,,also doesent say anywhere on lease that they would not speak to a 3rd party regarding my account,,,,what they did say on the calls i made to them regarding payoff,,, there calls are recorded,,,so why couldnt they replay what i was told regarding my payoff amount ? but what they did do ,,,was take a 3rd party check from chevy dealership for amount owed on car,,,,,so i could purchase a brand new camaro...
