IMHO a trip to Dallas during the morning rush hour or a Friday afternoon in San Antonio before a 3 day weekend might change your mind.

As in being more alarmed by them than I already am? Smiley Very Happy I do understand why people drive them. But if you don't, they can be pretty ominous in the share-the-road department.

Anyway, again, I'm not bashing them across the board. And I loved renting Toyota Highlanders when we went to the beach. (Also not having the dead crab smell in my own car. Smiley Wink)

Hauling - you had one of the very rare BMW 2002's. I was over my friend's house in the summertime and his friend was visiting and he drove a 2002 (prior to this I had had never known about them)  mint condition - the car is worth a lot of money!! it's a great car....there were only a few thousand 2002's made!! Collector's item for sure. Lucky you.

I wish I still had my little pocket rocket. We sold it to pay for kid #3, I think it was. That would be the one who was just graduated from college!

a freind-of-a-freindin socal  is selling a 2002 pretty cheap at the moment .

as a petrol=head i've allways admired them .... tempting .... very tempting Smiley Very Happy

i'm not going for it though .

i had a rush of blood over weekend and started looking at a 1966 porsche 912 . i didn't do the impulse thing , but now it looks like i cant get a car loan for a newer daily ,  i might just buy it as yet another project Smiley Happy

depreciation has allways been one of the more important things i thought about and has been calculated into every car purchase i have ever made .... buying to a monthly budget rather than a purchase price has allways been a bad thing in my book ......
