Interest Reduction

So got a letter from NFCU today concerning my auto loan of Nov 2020, they reduced my rate by .36% out of no where , ddin't know lenders did things like this, anyone ever experience this??  Sure appreciate it though!!

Bank of America lowered my rate from 4.99% to 3.79% when they realized I was a long-term preferred customer.   The dealer had arranged the original rate loan,  but BofA lowered it after a month or so, without prompting.
