Just received and email from overstock. Overstock is Introducing Cars by Overstock, and is working with a company called CarCheq. CarCheq is not a lender in any transaction and does not make loans, or loan commitments. All credit decisions, including loan approval and the conditional rates and terms you are offered, are the responsibility of the participating lenders and will vary based upon your loan request, your particular financial situation, and criteria determined by the lenders to whom you are matched. Not all consumers will qualify for the advertised rates and terms.cars.overstock.com
Cars by Overstock is just another car shopping site, like autotrader.com, and after a quick look not nearly as good. CarCheq appears to be a financing middle man, they pull your credit and shop for the best loan, which as with car dealers usually means the best commission for them, not necessarily the best loan for you.
And as this deal with car shopping & car loans, this belongs in the Auto Loans forum, not Credit Cards.
