Not in my experience - joined, financed a used car at 1.49% on 12.31.14 (closed, preapproved 2-3 weeks prior) and got a credit card ($6900 SL) and I've got a lot of inquiries on EQ and TU - they didn't mention it, results say they don't care. Now NASA, yeah it's a big deal to them and my results are very different with the space cadets....
