Hello, looking for advice - I leased a Traverse through GM financial over 12 months ago with a $812 monthly payment. I have not been late on this account. However, my credit is still around the 580 auto enhanced fico score range. My question is - I would like to lease a Chevy Cruze thru GM financial, will they give me good rates since I'm a current customer, despite my poor credit score? Does my history with them help me out at all? I'm not going to trade in the Traverse. Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.
I think your bigger problem is going to be GM Financial allowing a second open auto with those scores. I would guess for it to happen you'd need either a co-borrower (thus showing a need for a second vehicle and ideally a second person with an income) or have a combination of high income and large money down (for a lease). Just my $.02
Yes, I think the second car with GM Financial might be a stretch. However, I received a private offer of $3500 off of the purchase of a chevy cruze from GM financial about a month ago. I figured they must be ok with me getting a second loan since they sent the offer. Might be wishful thinking on my part, but we'll find out.
