Lease car with GM Financial - current customer

Hello, looking for advice - I leased a Traverse through GM financial over 12 months ago with a $812 monthly payment.  I have not been late on this account.  However, my credit is still around the 580 auto enhanced fico score range.  My question is - I would like to lease a Chevy Cruze thru GM financial, will they give me good rates since I'm a current customer, despite my poor credit score?  Does my history with them help me out at all?   I'm not going to trade in the Traverse.  Appreciate any thoughts.   Thanks.

They may take your history with them into consideration

What is the story with the $812 lease? That is almost $10k for the year. With A quick search I can find 2015-2016 Cruzes with less then 30k sub 10k. If you have the ability to put out 812 a month maybe it would be nice to wait a year and just pay cash for the car while you work on your credit.

Either way good luck with the car shopping

I think your bigger problem is going to be GM Financial allowing a second open auto with those scores. I would guess for it to happen you'd need either a co-borrower (thus showing a need for a second vehicle and ideally a second person with an income) or have a combination of high income and large money down (for a lease). Just my $.02

Yes, I think the second car with GM Financial might be a stretch.  However, I received a private offer of $3500 off of the purchase of a chevy cruze from GM financial about a month ago.  I figured they must be ok with me getting a second loan since they sent the offer.   Might be wishful thinking on my part, but we'll find out.
