Mortage payment DTI

When calculated DTI for auto loans...how do banks allocate a shared mortgage payment?

Say its $2k per month but both my wife and i are on the mortgage.

Does the whole $2k hit each of us in our individual DTI?

presumably, but you are both allowed to use each others incomes as well, so it all evens out

So the full mortgage is on your CB and you're applying for the loan so the CB thinks you're solely making the $2000 payment?

On the credit app, it will ask you for additional income and you can share the additional money incoming for a portion of the mortgage and in the app you can put your own share of the mortgage payment versus the entire amount that is being shown on your CB.  If asked, you can simply provide an explanation
