So I guess it's all for nothing ATM
Just an in real life, you have to earn your respect. Nothing is given for free. Once you learn that no one owes you, youd be in a much better place socially and financially in the future.
if you want to buy car at year end you should be clearing your 6 months by year end... I don't understand why you find it all for nothing... you are in the exact right direction... just make sure right before december you pay 1 of your credit cards off and let the other one only have a balance of under 9% of your total credit line.

I never had anyone to show me anything about credit. Been on my own since 16. Sorry if I sound completely unknowledgeable towards this lol
you came to the right place.
and sometimes slow and steady is the right direction to go and if your goal is car I think not piling on inquiries and new accounts will be good idea.
however, I would look into joining a credit union now. You say you work at airport, do they have one? if it's an airline they probably do... they will be a great source for maybe a 3rd credit card now and to start building a relationship with for that first car.
start putting paychecks into it so they can see your consistent income.
